Why do this ride: Ride around the northernmost part of coastal Vancouver Island. Ronning's Garden, Raft Cove.

Other notes:  We initially wanted to do a San Josef beach ride but is quickly became apparent that the gravel road is heavily trafficked with tourists and is also in poor shape. We hiked the beach instead (came across a large wedding party) and opted for a ride to Ronning's Garden and Cape Palmerston. The Cape Palmerston gravel was super smooth rollers, just awesome.
